Common problems and how to avoid them

Rotating the wrong page

Check the page range. Empty or "all" hits every page; "1" hits only page 1; "2,4" hits pages 2 and 4. We don't auto-detect — you tell us which.

PDF still shows sideways in some viewers

We bake the rotation into the page MediaBox. If a particular old reader ignores that, try opening in Chrome (modern PDF.js).

Rotation isn't 90/180/270

Standard PDF only allows multiples of 90. For arbitrary angles you'd need to rasterise the page — at which point you've lost the searchable text.

A short word on privacy

Three things to know. One: files go over TLS 1.3. Two: files are encrypted at rest while we process them, then deleted automatically within one hour. Three: we don't look at your files or train on them.
